Issue/Introduction
Symptoms:
The user is unable to deploy the OVF template or create virtual machines on a specific datastore. The user encounters the following error when deploying the OVF or creating a virtual machine.
"The operation is not allowed in the current state of the datastore."
The vCenter gets the call to create a virtual machine as soon as the OVF deployment is initiated. Part of the process is for vCenter to check the datastore that is needed for the virtual machine deployment. If vCenter finds that the datastore can't be used for creating the virtual machine, we will see the above error message during the deployment phase.
The user expects to see the following messages on the vpxd logs. The logs reveal that vCenter has disabled the datastore due to low free space. However, when the user checks the usage on the datastore, there is ample available space for the same datastore within the vCenter UI (the date, time, and datastore name may vary depending on the environme
nt).

++ The vCenter UI shows enough free space for the datastore (~12 TB). The free space may vary depending on the environment.
